Helmut Geuking is a German Member of European Parliament on behalf of the Familien Partei (Family Party) and ECPM.
In the European Parliament, he is a member of the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs. Mr Geuking lives in Billerbeck, Germany with his wife and three children.
Geuking is committed to social justice for the vulnerable. He worked as baker, nurse manager and deputy attaché. Troubled by the precarious situation of senior care in the 90s, Helmut Geuking founded the ambulant care service Humanitas in 1994, and later the non-profit Humanitas Gemeinshafts which is still one of the largest providers of care services in Münsterland, Germany.
During his first mandate in the European Parliament (2019- 2024), Geuking has been a fierce defender of family and children’s rights. He initiated the debate over child allowances and family welfare in the European Parliament and, thanks to his efforts, the issue is now addressed in several reports and documents adopted by the EP. He plans to continue pursuing Christian social policies in his next mandate.
